Tue 7th April Workout and Nutrition

woke up fresh at 5am, went to kitchen and prepared my meals for day, i already had overnight oats and chia seeds set in fridge and i topped them with mango and coconut, yumm.
for Lunch, i took out my chopped veggies and some frozen veggies, together with quinoa and seasonings, they go in pan.
my beetroot go in blender and smoothie ready, along with LSA mix added in it.
and evening snacks - some nuts and frest cut fruits

for workout - its my Fav HIIT followed by Fitness ball Toning

Monday, New Week, got my workout done

Irrespective of being sleepy on Monday morning and in mood of missing gym and skip packing lunch (blame late night Sunday movies) i got up and packed my meals

Breakfast - wholewheat sandwich with Guacamole spread.
Snacks: Sliced Strawberries and Apple.
Lunch: garbanzo Beans, Paneer, Broccoli, Green beans, carrots, peas, tomato and corn salad and big cup of yogurt
Eve snack: Milk and Roasted Peanuts
Post workout:  Protein oats Bar

Went to gym and Workout done:  Legs Workout

Started with Sumo Squats, 35lbs, 40lbs, 45 lbs pyramid done
Step-Up to Reverse Lunge along with Alternate Lunge were killers, i can feel the burn.
followed by parallel squat and Bulgarian squat, Ouch.
along with them i added Burpee Squat Jump to my today's workout

Diet Plan to support my Fitness

I plan my day as per 5 major Food Groups
- Veggies
- Fruits
- proteins
- Carbs
- Fats

and so for today it is
VEGGIES - broccoli, capsicum, tomato, carrots, cauliflower
FRUITS - strawberries, watermelon
CARBS - brown rice, wholewheat chapati
PROTEINS - protein powder, chicken, 2 eggs whites, curd
FATS - 1 egg yolk, coconut oil, sunflower seeds

Today my meal plans are as follows

Post workout - protein oats bar, extra virgin coconut oil
Breakfast - 1/2 cup brown rice with a cup of stir fry Broccoli
Mid morning snack - a boiled egg
Lunch - grilled chicken breast with lots of grilled veggies
eve snack - yogurt topped with strawberries and sunflower seeds
Dinner - Gobhi parantha

Calories - 1351
Carbs - 136
fats - 43
Proteins - 106
Fiber - 16 (oops i need to increase it)
and sugar - 34 (from fruits)

Legs Workout with TRX bands



Iam in Love with TRX bands for supporting body weight exercises, it allows me ATG squats(smoothly with proper form), the Bulgarian squats, i always struggle with them, and with TRX bands, i have to less struggle with form and can more endurance to it.
yay to TRX bands if you enjoy body weight workouts

Bitec Half Marathon - 10 Kms Run

Registered for this event before my Singapore and India Trip, i didn't plan getting exhausted and sick after my holidays, still recovering from my Viral fever and  didn't want to let go of my registered Bib and event, I decided the walk the race instead of running it.

Singapore Trip

Thanks to my Mom papa who gifted me this trip and and my little sis who did all the planning, I had amazing Time in Singapore

Day 1 - We landed at 9.30am in S'pore, picked our bags, cleared immigration and checked in at hotel at 12, and went to Orchard road, i had a coffee meet planned with my S'pore FB friends and my son and hubby enjoyed lunch and ice cream at one of their malls.
after my lovely coffee meet and nice girlie time, i met my family and we enjoyed evening out in orchard road decorated with beautiful lights for Christmas.

Day 2 - I woke up early morning for my run, but as we had a long day sightseeing planned, i cut short my run for 30 minutes followed by some workout at hotel gym
later went for breakfast while my hubby and son were still sleeping away the glory.
we again went to Orchard road for lunch and then off to Gardens by the bay, Marina bay sands, and later enjoyed the laser show at MBS and Singapore Flyer,
Breathtaking is the word, we just loved it.

Day 3 - i had to miss my run, was tired by walking and sightseeing and didn't want to exhaust myself, after breakfast at hotel, we went to Jurong park at first half of the day and LittleIndia in evening to buy some souvenirs, lunch was Indian food out there,
by now we were really tired so went back to hotel to sleep early.

Day 4 - we checked out from ramada and Checked in at Sentosa Resort, wow, we loved it soo much, its just 5 mins from universal studio, and there we are, 10am at universal Studio, and we had an amazing day out there, full of fun.

Day 5 - today day was exploring sentosa, so after breakfast at hotel we were out to check sea aquarium and fun games at the island. it was a good day. i went for a run early morning to explore sentosa and beach near our hotel, loved it.

day 6 - check out day.. but as our flight was 6 in evening, we enjoyed some time at sentosa beach, played some more games, said goodbye to sentosa and off to airport.

it was a fun trip in S'pore, again thanks to my parents for gifting me this nice trip and my sis for helping me plan it.
